The Academy Upper School builds a strong Jewish foundation and identity in our students while maximizing their academic potential and ensuring their social and emotional well being in a safe community environment.

Academy Upper School, has specialized teachers dedicated to teaching each core subject and elective. The teachers work with small classes where each student receives individualized attention maximizing their academic growth and personal, social and emotional development.

Following the California State Standards, the Academy Upper School ensures that all students are at or above grade level in core subjects while providing a well-rounded liberal-arts, dual-language education rooted in strong Jewish values and identity. Students graduating 8th grade will be prepared academically and emotionally for High School, (often well ahead of their peers,) putting them on a path for advanced college placement and success in life while retaining a strong Jewish identity.
