If we see that children are falling behind we call that “Focus Children”, because they literally are the focus. Usually, they go into small groups or 1-1. When we see the objectives are not happening over 3 weeks of data collection, we call parents and chat, making a plan together and developing a 504 plan which obliges us to engage certain specifically named scaffolds or assistance for each child based on objective data both qualitative and quantitative.
